Mountain Relish is the catering division of The Winter Adventure Company which was established in 1996 by myself John McFetridge and Finlay Kerr. Today, we both continue to be directors and are very much involved with the day to day running of the business.

When we first set up Winter Adventure in 1996 we operated one catered chalet in the small resort of Champagny-en-Vanoise, part of the La Plagne ski area. From there we moved to La Tania in the 3 Valleys and ran a slightly larger operation with four catered chalets. In 2004 we moved to Chamonix which has been our base ever since.

Although our programme has changed over the years our philosophy has not. We provide holidays and catering services of the very highest standard. John as a professional caterer looks after the catering side of the business in Chamonix and the Three Valleys while Finlay as a BASI  ISIA instructor oversees our hotel holidays and performance ski clinics in Switzerland. It is a natural division and ensures that our individual skills are best suited to our clients requirements.

In the summer John continues to run the catering side of the business from his home in Beziers while Finlay retuns to his home in Crail, Scotland where he runs his own B and B, Caiplie House.
