Courchevel 1850 is the heart of the Courchevel-Saint Bon valley with modern high-speed ski lifts, decadent luxury and perfectly groomed slopes.

The ski town stretches from 1750 metres up to 1850 metres housing super chalets crafted among the trees and ski slopes.

Skiers are left wanting for nothing in Courchevel with over 10 Michelin star restaurants, exclusive cocktail bars, private spas, cinemas, an indoor ice rink as well as luxury in spades.

Ski shops, jewellers and exclusive brands line the centre of town with restaurants and 5* hotels around every corner. Chalets hide up into the hills complete with ski-in/ski-out access.

Transport links are easy too, with ski lifts to and from chalets open late plus a free ski bus that carries you down to the lively 1650 and the cute streets of Le Praz. Keep your eyes open, you might see the rich and famous who fly in and out of the slopeside altiport, including Will and Kate or the Beckhams.

The Ski Area

Courchevel’s 150 kilometres of piste is arguably the best groomed in the world and joins seamlessly with the 600km Three Valleys ski area. Its north-facing slopes combined with extensive snow gun coverage guarantees top-notch conditions from early December until late April

The uber-modern high-speed lift system lets you explore almost uninterrupted, queues are rare even during peak weeks. Take the gondola high up to the top of Saulire at 2738 metres to open up the whole Courchevel valleys or drop straight into sunny Meribel.

Wide-open rolling slopes make for glorious skiing conditions to easily access La Tania, 1650, Le Praz along with Meribel and Val Thorens.

With guaranteed snow, international ski schools, easy-going (free) beginner slopes, long rolling intermediate trails, challenging black runs and ample off-piste there are few ski resorts that can compete with this French A-lister.
