Meribel - les - Allues

Les Allues is the original Meribel valley village still retaining its mountain Savoyarde charm.

The traditional, authentic, year-round village incorporates narrow streets, converted barns and hidden away local bars.

Perching at 1100 metres, 7 km below Meribel Centre, it offers skiing access via the Olympe gondola.

Les Allues entwines a selection of chalets, apartments and hotels among its quaint charming streets. You’re just as likely to find locals and workers here along with a few keen skiers.

Shops newsagents, restaurants, ski rental and lively bars are all on offer in Les Allues plus you can easily head up to Meribel Centre for a selection of live music, fine dining and cheap eats.

Free regular ski buses run early until late for you to visit Meribel Centre, Mottaret and Meribel Village.

Les Allues is a cute welcoming village offering value for money in the heart of The Three Valleys.

The Ski Area

Les Allues is linked to the Meribel ski area via the Olympe gondola, which serves you into the Chaudanne. Perfect to explore the 600kms of piste in the Three Valleys.

You can even ski back to Les Allues via a gentle winding red run among the trees. Although this often closes during early and late season when snow coverage is minimal below 1300 metres.

Ski schools, ski hire, and boot fitters are all situated in Meribel Centre to help you get the best out of your skiing.

Meribel’s high-speed modern lift network, which is upgraded every winter, make it easy to explore the whole valley even during peak weeks.

Beginner skiers practice on the sunny wide open Altiports slopes. Intermediate skiers are able to explore the whole of the Three Valleys via blue and red runs while advanced skiers challenge themselves in the big mountains.

Service from Les Allues into the Chaudanne is perfect to take advantage of the full ski area. It sits right in the middle of The Three Valleys to enjoy the sun of Meribel, High altitude of Val Thorens or meticulously groomed snow of Courchevel.
