Brides-les-bains
Brides-les-Bains ski resort is a quiet spa town with a wide selection of shops and restaurants nestling at the base of the world’s largest ski area, The Three Valleys.
Sitting in the valley below Meribel, it offers ski area access via a 20-minute gondola ride and is just 15 minutes from Moutiers where the ski train arrives.
Brides-les-Bains provides skiers with a low-cost launchpad into The Three Valleys. As a year-round local town, it acts as a perfect base for both skiers and non-skiers.
The picturesque French spa town is filled with amenities without the high costs of higher premium ski resorts. Take your pick of hotels, spas and restaurants lining the Doron de Bozel glacial river.
Apres-ski consists of local hideaways and most visitors are happy whiling their evenings away with dinner and a quiet beer. Brides-les-Bains is ideal for avid skiers on a budget.
The Ski Area
The Brides-les-Bains Olympe Gondola serves skiers directly into the heart of Meribel. Perfect to access the seamlessly interconnected Three Valleys ski area. From here you have 600kms of skiing including sunny Meribel, high altitude Val Thorens or perfectly groomed Courchevel.
International ski schools and ski rental are all available from Meribel to help you take your skiing to the next level.
Beginners happily practice on the wide-open altiport slopes which bathe in the sun all day. Intermediate skiers lose themselves taking in the breathtaking views at the top of Mont Vallon. Expert skiers test their nerve in Meribel’s world-class terrain park or take on a big mountain adventure in Val Thorens.
Brides-les-Bains only sits at 600 metres in altitude but its ski links allow for an awesome ski holiday on a budget or even a quick weekend trip to the French Alps.
